Mishelle Rene Cohen

Mishelle Rene Cohen, 54, of Roachdale, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette.

Mishelle was born in Indianapolis on April 4, 1965, the daughter of David A. Brinkman and Marjorie C. (Hutson) Wilson.

She was a 1983 graduate of Jennings County High School. She earned her associate’s degree in the medical field from IUPUI.

Mrs. Cohen was a long-time music manager and she had a deep love for music. She also loved her dogs and cats.

Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Cary Cohen of Roachdale; daughter Kayla Cohen, who is a senior at Indiana State University; two brothers, David Brinkman of Cloverdale and Robert Wilson of Cloverdale; a sister, Julie Elliott and husband Tim of Fortville; and several nieces and nephews, as well as, several great nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her father; a step-father, John Wilson; and her beloved sister, Tina J. Brinkman.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 5 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. A memorial visitation will take place one hour prior to time of service on Friday.
