Lucille Sinclair

Lucille Sinclair, 87, of Cloverdale, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Mill Pond Heath Campus.

Lucille was born in Putnam County on July 23, 1931, the daughter of Clyde and Madge M. (Sublett) Sutherlin.

She attended Cloverdale Schools.

Mrs. Sinclair was a member of the Cloverdale Church of Christ. She helped her husband run their farm. She also helped run the Feed Mill in Cloverdale and helped build Chicago’s Pizza. She was known for her wonderful cooking.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Beverly Sinclair of Cloverdale; two grandsons, Brad Sinclair and wife Erin of Cloverdale and David Sinclair and wife Cristy of Danville; four great-grandchildren, Gavin, Katelyn, Colby and Blake Sinclair; and niece Marcia Hostetter of Manomet, Mass.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, Curtis Sinclair; and a son, Jerry Sinclair.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 25 at Cloverdale Cemetery with Pastor Matt Nichols officiating.

Friends may gather at the cemetery from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
