William V. Crabb

William V. Crabb, 74, of Brazil, passed away at Terre Haute Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 28, 2019 following a brief illness.

Bill was born on Oct. 25, 1944, the son of William and Ruby (Slater) Crabb. He graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1962. He married Billie Jo LeMay on June 18, 1967. Bill had worked for General Motors and Allison Transmission for 38 years.

Bill enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He also enjoyed working on his cars, especially Corvettes and Mustangs. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and his mother-in-law Norma.

He was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ruby Crabb; wife of 47 years, Billie Jo Crabb; two brothers, Mike Crabb and Phillip Crabb; and father-in-law Bill LeMay.

Survivors include his daughter Leandra Brock and husband Tom of Reelsville; grandsons Hayden Meredith and Damon Neumeyer; a step-granddaughter, Chloe Unverzagt; a sister, Linda Snow of Glenn; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil, on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Services will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
