Paint the Town

Showing off their work, Van Bibber Lake youths (clockwise from front left) Brooklynn, Aireanna, Matthew and Breanna brighten up the fire dog that sits in front of the Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Department. The children are part of a crew of neighborhood kids who have been working on their painting skills with local artist Charlie Tanner, who calls the kids her cadets. “I started doing this because I want to keep kids off the street,” Tanner said.
