Farm to Fork tickets available

Tuesday, August 13, 2019

The Putnam County Farm to Fork dinner is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. inside the Community Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

The committee has individuals and companies who are sponsors for this event, the entertainment has been secured, scholarship recipients will share information about the scholarships they received and Myers’ Market will cater the event.

The committee now needs people who share their passion to help students with their post-secondary goals to purchase reservations for this event. Reservations can be purchased at the Putnam County Community Foundation, as well as branches of both First National Bank or Tri-County Bank and Trust.

Reservations purchased at one of these locations or by mail are $40. Reservations can also be purchased online here. When completing the donation form under the “Donate Now” tab, put “tickets” in the scholarship box and reservations will be waiting at the event.

Reservations made online are $42. Tables for 10 are available to reserve for $400.

Cloverdale Dollars for Scholars, Greencastle Alumni Association, North Putnam Dollars for Scholars and the South Putnam Scholarship Committee have been meeting since September of last year to plan a Farm to Fork dinner.

This is a fundraiser to provide scholarship funds for students in each high school in Putnam County.

North Putnam Dollars for Scholars is the financial agent for this event, but all funds raised at this event will be divided equally between the four county high school scholarship committees.

The scholarship committees award scholarships to students who attend trade or technical programs, two-year associate degree programs and four-year college/university programs.

By supporting this event, community members will be helping to provide scholarships for any student who attends a county high school has the opportunity to apply for.
