Banished from the kingdom by the wicked and vain Lord Farquaad, fairy tale creatures find themselves in the swamp where the ogre Shrek has previously lived alone in the Putnam County Playhouse production of “Shrek the Musical.” That’s when the moody ogre, out of a desire to remain alone, sets off on a quest to get his swamp back. Audiences can join in the adventure at the Hazel Day Longden Theatre today through Saturday at 8 p.m. each evening. Some tickets remain for $10 each and are available by calling the box office at 653-5880 between 5 and 7 p.m.
