Everett Lee Arnold

Everett Lee Arnold, 87, of Quincy, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019. Everett passed in peace, surrounded by family.

He was born on Oct. 22, 1931 in Morgan County to the late Lee Roy and Edna (Steirwalt) Arnold.

In addition to his parents and three siblings, Everett was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Emma Jane (Collier) Arnold.

In 1954, Everett began his lifelong passion career of farming, building the foundation of Arnold Farms to what it still is today. He worked hard for everything he had and wasn’t much for downtime. But throughout his life, Everett did enjoy spending time with his family and friends, going to church, flying his plane, golfing and fishing.

Everett is survived by his five children, Larry (Marji) Arnold, Rick Arnold, Mike (Cathy) Arnold, Tim (Cheryl) Arnold and Kevin (Lisa) Arnold; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time.
