Taste of Putnam County set Sept. 6

Monday, August 26, 2019

Following successful events the last three years, the annual Taste of Putnam County will again coincide with the September First Friday.

The partnership between the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Greencastle will take place in downtown Greencastle from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6.

Taste of Putnam County is an opportunity to taste the wares of more than two dozen local restaurants and vendors in one location.

Tickets are available at the event from the Chamber for one dollar each and then used as money to buy from each vendor.

Once again, the consumer gets to vote for the best food in Putnam County. Customers will be given a voting ticket for every 10 eating tickets they purchase. They can use those tickets to vote for their favorite foods.

The last two years, Bon Appetit has been the winner of the Taste of Putnam County.

Full details on vendors involved and more about First Friday will be published on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
