• At 8:11 a.m. on Tuesday, Carson Long, 17, Greencastle, was eastbound in the right lane of U.S. 40 in a 1986 Chevrolet pickup.

Long told Deputy Tanner Brown he hit a bump in the road and started going left into the median. He then turned back right, across both lanes, and hit the face of a guardrail. It traveled a little farther and then hit the guardrail again.

A witness told Brown the truck was swerving back and forth in the lane and then hit the guardrail.

The truck was towed. Brown estimated damage at $5,000-$10,000.

• At 9:37 a.m. on Monday, Jeffery Cox, 55, Kansas City, Mo., was westbound on Interstate 70 in a 2013 Dodge Journey when he drove over the rumble strips and into the ditch.

The vehicle then hit the end of a guardrail and spun around, coming to a stop.

Both Cox and his wife Sally Cox complained of neck pain.

The vehicle was towed. Deputy Brown estimated damage at $10,000-$25,000.
