Golf scramble to benefit Area 30 scholarship fund

rea 30 Career Center will host its eighth-annual scholarship fund golf scramble on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Clover Meadows Golf Course in Cloverdale.

Registration and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m. with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

There will be a $10,000 hole-in-one.

Registration for a team of four is $200 and includes lunch.

There are five levels of sponsorship available to area businesses and individuals: Copper - $50, Bronze - $75, Silver - $100, Gold - $200 and Platinum - $300.

Sponsorship will provide funds for students who will be purchasing equipment and uniforms to start their career and for students who will be attending college.

Area 30 could not provide these opportunities without the generosity of the community.
