On Friday, the Putnam County Hospital Cancer Center celebrated National Mammography Day with an open house and unveiling of new artwork in the center.

Local resident Trista Dilley painted the picture, which was signed with words of inspiration by community members at the Tickled Pink event on Oct. 3.

“Putnam County Hospital and the center would like to thank American Family Insurance for supplying snacks for the open house and a huge thank you to my good friend, Trista, for her artistic talents in making this vision a reality,” said Director of Marketing and Community Relations Brooke Trissel.

These events were highlighted as part of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
