PCSD drug dog helps take 100 pounds of marijuana off the streets

Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Major Dwight Simmons and Bo, a veteran PCSD drug dog, helped take more than 100 pounds of marijuana off the streets Tuesday afternoon.

Sheriff Scott Stockton described the 105 pounds of pot seized as “high-grade marijuana” in the Putnam County drug stop.

As a result, two individuals from California, Rosa Tobar and Ana Quevedo, are now in custody at the Putnam County Jail, awaiting formal charges and their day in court.

Also assisting were Indiana State Police officers.
