Local fire departments bring the heat for chili cook-off

BAINBRIDGE — The Bainbridge Fire Department will host the annual Fire Department Chili Cook-Off on Saturday.

The event will take place at 6 p.m. at the Bainbridge Community Building.

Each Putnam County fire department can enter two different chili recipes — one hot and one mild.

The public is encouraged to attend and try some chili and vote on their favorite.

A trophy will be awarded to the winning fire department.

All proceeds will be divided among participating fire departments.
