A 31-year-old Greencastle man is facing voyeurism charges after it was discovered he reportedly used a planted cellphone to videotape women using the port-o-let bathrooms during the Monon Bell football game Saturday.

Logan Campbell is facing charges of voyeurism, a Level 6 felony in which the alleged perpetrator “peeps”using a camera, and a Class A misdemeanor count of public voyeurism.

Content on the cellphone shows at least two female victims, the second of whom spotted the phone in the corner of the port-o-let where it was partially obscured by leaves and toilet paper.

She picked up the phone, initially intending to return it to the owner after presuming he or she had lost it inside the portable restroom in the tailgating area near Blackstock Stadium.

However, she saw the cellphone was recording and was able to determine that she had been recorded while using the bathroom.

The phone also showed video of the suspect setting it up and pretending to use the restroom so it was positioned well for his illicit intentions.

A second victim was evident but the video only showed the sides of her leg and buttocks, so there was no way to identify her.

There is then subsequent footage of the suspect readjusting the cellphone, the probable cause affidavit filed in Putnam Superior Court notes.

The victim and her daughter turned the phone over to Greencastle Police Officers Det. Matt Huffman and Elsiana Crosby. They looked through its contents, finding selfies of the suspect as well as the videos.

The victim also told police that while exiting the portable restroom, she warned others in line about the presence of the cellphone. That’s when Campbell allegedly confronted her, asking if she had found phone in the port-o-let.

She told him no and although he reportedly followed her, she ran ahead until she spotted authorities and gave them the phone.

Officers, who were reportedly familiar with Campbell, noted seeing him earlier in the tailgating area.

At the conclusion of the game, Campbell was arrested as he was leaving the stadium area.

Campbell, who bonded out of the Putnam County Jail later Saturday afternoon, is due in court Dec. 11 for an initial hearing.
