Putnam Inn sponsors 2nd-annual Christmas light contest

Following the success of last year’s event, the Putnam Inn has announced the second-annual Home for the Holidays Christmas Light Contest will take place again this December.

Recalling the fun her family had looking at Christmas lights, Putnam Inn owner Rhonda Brotherton revived the local contest last year after it had been dormant for three straight holiday seasons.

To enter, families should complete a registration form from the Putnam Inn Facebook page (www.facebook.com/PutnamInn) or pick one up at the restaurant, 400 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.

Homes need to be within a 20-minute drive of the restaurant.

Entries are due by Sunday, Dec. 1.

The winner will receive a $100 gift card to the Putnam Inn.
