County Jail

Three people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Monday.

• At 8:33 p.m. Brittany Leann Price, 32, Reelsville, was lodged at the jail for leaving the scene of a property-damage accident and for driving while intoxicated.

• At 5:30 p.m. Austin Ray Chadd, 25, Greencastle, was housed at the jail for probation violation.

• At 4:50 p.m. Kristen E. Felt, 29, Spencer, was booked in for driving while intoxicated endangering a person, driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

City Police

Five recent citations were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 9:17 p.m. Monday, Sarah Lange, 39, Indianapolis, was cited by Officer Elsiana Crosby.

Lange was stopped on Washington Street near Indianapolis Road where she was cited for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.

• At 7:52 p.m. Friday, Terri Thomas, 33, Greencastle, was cited by Officer Luke Brown.

Thomas was stopped on Arlington Street near Cameron Drive where she was cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

• At 7:03 p.m. Friday, Lacie Zeller, 40, Roachdale, was ticketed by Officer Alec Pettit.

Stopped on State Road 240, Zeller was cited for following too closely.

• At 2:57 a.m. Thursday, Robert West, 56, Plainfield, was cited by Ofiicer Crosby.

Stopped on Bloomington Street near Primrose Lane, West was ticketed for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.

• At 3:57 a.m. Thursday, James Edmonson, 44, Cloverdale, was cited by Officer Zach Rhine.

Stopped on U.S. 231 South near U.S. 40, Edmonson was cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

Sheriff’s Department

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated one recent property-damage crash.

• At 8 a.m. on Monday, Jacob D. Cherry, 28, Greencastle, was northbound on County Road 900 East in a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado.

Cherry told Deputy Josh Boller he looked to grab his cell phone and at that time left the roadway, hitting the end of a guardrail with his right rear tire.

The truck was towed. Boller estimated damage at $2,500-$5,000.
