Robert G. Rice

Robert G. Rice, 82, of Cloverdale, passed away Sunday Dec. 1, 2019.

Born Jan. 21, 1937 to the late Verlie and Dorothy (Cooper) Rice.

Bob graduated from Purdue University with a degree in electrical engineering. He was an Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his brother, Richard Rice and wife Jill of Cloverdale.

A graveside service for Robert will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 at Cloverdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Whitaker Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Bob Rice Scholarship at the Putnam County Foundation.
