County Jail

Two people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Friday

• At 2:01 a.m. Siera L. Heim, 23, Coatesville, was lodged at the jail for driving while intoxicated.

Thursday

• At 11:30 p.m. Jacob T. Adams, 27, Noblesville, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to four recent dispatches:

• At 7:40 a.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to 1333 Indianapolis Rd. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 7:43 to find that the alarm was unintentional and activated during maintenance. GFD went back into service at 8:14 a.m.

• At 12:09 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to Rescare Homecare for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 12:14 to find that the alarm was in test mode and maintenance was being done. GFD went back into service at 12:16 p.m.

• At 5:57 p.m. on Thursday, GFD responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Washington Street. Units arrived on the scene shortly after the dispatch and assisted with patient care. GFD went back into service at 6:03 p.m.

• At 6:17 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to 418 Anderson St. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 6:20 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 6:23 p.m.

Additionally, GFD recently performed three medical assists and had two disregards.
