The Educators Preparing Inspired Change (EPIC) Superintendents Academy recently presented its third cohort last December.

Thirteen superintendents from across the state participated in the year-long program in 2019, including North Putnam Superintendent Nicole Singer.

The EPIC Superintendents Academy is facilitated by professionals from the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents (IAPSS), Butler University’s College of Education and the Lacy School of Business.

This collaboration brings experts in the fields of business and education together to learn how to further education and opportunities.

EPIC aims to position superintendents for dynamic leadership through building skills in strategy development, budgeting, change management, community outreach and school board relations.

Participants who complete the academy are certified in Butler’s Executive Education program, as well as earn accredited hours toward educator license renewal.
