LeRoy V. Miller

LeRoy V. Miller, 93 of Roachdale, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation.

He was born on Jan. 11, 1927 in Parkersburg to the late Harry and Anna (Tobin) Miller.

On March 16, 1952 he married Rose M. (Stewart). She preceded him in death.

He was a longtime member of the Roachdale Christian Church and V.F.W. Post #3284, where he served as past Commander.

LeRoy served our country in the United States Army. After returning home from the Army, LeRoy began working for Allison, Division of General Motors, where he retired in 1982. After retirement he then worked for Car Quest for 10 years.

LeRoy was very active in the V.F.W. Military Rites team, giving our veterans their final farewell they deserve.

He is survived by his three daughters, Brenda Miller of Crawfordsville, Barbara (Greg) Poole of Roachdale and Beverly (Rick) Eyler of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers and four sisters.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 6 at Roachdale Christian Church, 1 N. Walnut St., Roachdale. Burial with military rites will follow in Roachdale Cemetery.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 5 at the church from -8 p.m.
