Putnam Scanner for March 4, 2020

Three people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Monday.

• At 3:02 p.m. Jacob M. Joseph, 19, Roachdale, was lodged at the jail for domestic battery and strangulation.

• At 2:42 p.m. Chelsea R. Demetro, 28, Indianapolis, was taken into custody on a court order.

• At 2:30 p.m. Corbin R. Acton, 18, Plainfield, was booked in on a court order.

City Police

Two recent citations were issued by city officers.

• At 5:56 a.m. Sunday, Chad Buttery, 39, Greencastle, was stopped on Bloomington Street by Officer Alec Pettit.

Buttery was cited for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.

During the investigation he was also found to be in possession of marijuana and was issued a summons into court for possession of marijuana.
