Clifford Wilson Poynter

Clifford W. Poynter, 73, Bainbridge, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at his residence.

He was born Oct. 11, 1946 in Greencastle to Woodrow W. and Grace E. (Lay) Poynter.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Poynter; daughter Shannon L. (James) Gurney, Crawfordsville; son Clifford A. (Corina) Poynter, Lebanon; stepdaughter Christina M. (David) Hodson; stepson Anthony W. Lee, Bainbridge; his siblings, Frieda M. Dozier, Bainbridge, and Roy W. Poynter, Bainbridge; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Winifred L. and Gene A. Poynter; sister Wendylene (Melvin) Trent and grandson Nickolus L. Poynter.

Clifford loved horses, fishing, hunting, boating and entertaining family and friends. He was dearly loved by his family and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

No services are scheduled. Cremation has been chosen.
