Lawrence ‘Larry’ Marlin McKeigue

Lawrence “Larry” Marlin McKeigue, aged 86, died on June 3, 2020 in Hendricks County.

He was born on Oct. 23, 1933 in Chicago, Ill.

He received the National Defense Service Medal while serving in the U.S. Navy, and was a retired member of the Teamsters Union, a member and past trustee of the Greencastle Eagles and a past member of the Moose, American Legion and VFW.

He enjoyed dancing, gardening, playing pinochle and was a model train enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marlin and Marjorie McKenna McKeigue, wife Lorraine Dietz McKeigue, sister Patricia McGriffin and daughter Cathy (Dave) Kilgore.

He is survived by two daughters, Lyn (Gary) Gram of Greencastle and Peggy (John) Wood of Plainfield; one son, Larry McKeigue of Terre Haute; grandchildren James Gram of Greencastle, Dee (Daniel) Norman of Greencastle, Kay (Zach) Couse of Mooresville, Jennifer (Pat) Girton of Reelsville, David (Chasity) Wood of Greencastle, Jarrod (Jill) Everhart of Brazil, William “BeeJay” (Elsa) Jenkins of Clay City, April Nees of Metter, Ga.; Erin (Shawn) Bignel, Megan McKeigue (Lawrence Guydon), and Ian McKeigue of Terre Haute; and several great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He will also be missed by his loving companion Geraldine Mynatt and her family of Mooresville.

There will be a private celebration of life.

Arrangements handled through Bell Mortuary in Indianapolis.
