Hoffa - 50th Anniversary

Thursday, June 11, 2020

They were just young kids when they married the summer of 1970. And now 50 years later, Terry and Linda (Sims) Hoffa are still in love like teenagers.

Both lifetime Cloverdale residents, they made their house a home together, with three lovely daughters — Sheryl, Susan and Stephanie.

Terry, a 1973 graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, had a longstanding career as an Engineer for Allison Transmission, while Linda was tasked with raising some amazing girls and maintaining the home they built together.

They embrace their lifelong role of parenting, but truly cherish their roles as Grammy and Grampy to Rylan and Carson, sons of Sheryl and Larry Hall in Cloverdale; and Drew and Ella, who reside in Texas with their parents Susan and Trae Holmes.

The couple celebrated this momentous occasion with the family in Hawaii. They plan to continue the lifelong celebration of everlasting love.

If you’d like to share in their love, or gain wisdom toward happily ever after, you can likely find them at the Cloverdale McDonald’s (sitting at separate tables, though) or mail a card to 7704 E SR 42, Cloverdale, IN 46120.

Congratulations Linda and Terry, Mom and Dad, Grammy and Grampy ... The Hoffas, est. June 19, 1970.
