Sliding into ... Next Summer

While the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of the Greencastle Aquatic Center for the 2020 swim season, it has not slowed crews from Graves Construction in erecting a pair of water slides at the southeast corner of the pool. Graves has also constructed a drop slide in the diving tank area. The upgrades to the pool are thanks to a $1.6 million bond issue for park upgrades. The Switz City-based contractor has a target date of July 3 for completion of the project, though it will not be in use until 2021.
