Nancy Jane Livesay

Nancy Jane Livesay, 85, of Greencastle, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2020, at Mill Pond Rehabilitation Center.

Nancy was born in Clinton County on April 21, 1935, the daughter of Ira Estel and Dena Clair (Scobee) Rowings.

She was a 1954 graduate of Bainbridge High School. She also attended Butler University and Purdue University.

Mrs. Livesay was a member of Brick Chapel Church, and was also a member of her local Home Economics Club.

She worked for many years as a bus driver for North Putnam Schools. Nancy also worked for Prevo’s in Greencastle.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Paul Livesay; five children, Lynlee “Chris” Sharp (husband Rodney), Georgetown, Ky., Laren Cole Livesay (wife Deanna), Bainbridge, Jana Jaye Lockwood (husband Fred), Eminence, Scott Paul Livesay, Greencastle, and LeeAnn Livesay-McCall (husband Michael), Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wayne Rowings.

Private services for the family will be held at a later date.
