PCCF announces details for 2021 Lilly Scholarship program

The Putnam County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2021 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program.

The application may be found online at https://pccfscholarships.communityforce.com. Applications must be submitted by Sept. 9.

Selection criteria for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship is based on scholastic abilities and intellectual pursuits, the capacity to lead and motivate fellow students, social commitment and extracurricular involvement, and the ability to articulate career plans that demonstrate motivation and initiative. An unweighted GPA of 3.8 is required for all applicants.

This prestigious scholarship provides full tuition, including a $900 book stipend per year, for four years to any accredited Indiana college or university.

The 2021 Putnam County Lilly Endowment Community Scholar will be named in mid-December 2020.

The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program is a statewide program administered by local community foundations throughout Indiana, and Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) provides statewide oversight of the program.

Since the program was introduced in 1998, Lilly Endowment has remained steadfast in its belief that education at all levels is indispensable to the personal, civic, and economic well-being of Indiana residents and communities.
