  • There is no logic on the decision being made- Chicken BBQ cancelled - breakfast is on --- Newport Hill Climb cancelled-- Bridge Festival on ( at least for now)

  • The last breakfast we went to, there was only like 8 people. So maybe thats how they can keep it going. Their BBQ is famous for 1000 or so people. That would be tough with the virus. As with everything else that is good, hope for next year. Fillmore Fire comes to heritage lake and helps our guys. They are good people.

  • I see it like this: if you want to go then go. If you don't want to go then don't go. It is that easy.

  • The preparation it takes for these bigger events is tremendous, not to mention the expense of meats, preparing etc. If the virus gets worse or we go into quarantine then there would be a major loss to the department if it had to be cancelled at the last minute. To the one who went to the breakfast where there was on 8 people, that may ha ejust been the number present when you were there.
