Gary Ray Coffman

Gary Ray Coffman, 67, of Indianapolis, formerly of Greencastle and Dade City, Fla., passed away on Friday, Aug. 21, 2020.

Born May 22, 1953 in Greencastle, he was the son of James P. Coffman and Ruth E. (Stoner) Hutchison and was a 1971 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Gary was an over-the-road truck driver, owning and operating his own business.

He was a lifetime member of the Belgium Horse Association and was an avid racing fan.

He is survived by his brother, Morris (wife Sally) Coffman; a niece, Angela Kriesel; cousins Sue Anne Moreland, Steve (wife Margo) Thomas, Linda “Susie” Thomas and James Moreland.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Konya Hutchison.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25 at the Brick Chapel Cemetery with interment to follow.
