Norma R. (Killion) Minor Hoten

Norma R. (Killion) Minor Hoten, 80, of Reelsville, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020 at her residence in Putnam County.

She was born March 3, 1940 in Clay County, the daughter of Reanis Killion and Evelyn (Stough) Killion.

Norma was a member of the Big Walnut Baptist Church. She worked for the Indiana Department Correctional Faciity as a food service director. She enjoyed all music, especially playing the organ for her church. Norma also enjoyed bowling and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Keith Minor, and her late husband, George Hoten.

Norma is survived by her sons, Dwayne (Andrea) Minor of Reelsville, Dennis (Judy) Minor of Cloverdale and Darrell (Cathy) Minor of Greencastle; brothers Dale Killion; sister Sharon McClure; grandchildren Jessica Minor (Rob Wise), Ericka (Tanner) Bunch, Jeremy (Brooke) Minor, Christopher Minor and Ryan Minor; great-grandchildren Weston Wise, Amelia Wise, Elena Minor, Elias Minor, Brookson Minor, Hailey Potter and Levi Potter.

Services will be conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. at French Funeral Home, Brazil, with Pastor Carl Huxford and Mark Wingler officiating. Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at Croy’s Creek Cemetery in Reelsville.
