LAFAYETTE — Joe Mackey, the Democratic nominee for Indiana’s 4th U.S. Congressional District, will be hosting his latest forum, titled, “Health Care in Indiana,” on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The forum will be conducted virtually and will take place at 7 p.m. The event will draw attention to the many health care struggles facing Hoosiers, particularly in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Health experts will share their thoughts on the issues, and the panel will discuss how both the state and federal government can be of more assistance to medical professionals and their patients.

There will be three guests joining Mackey for this virtual forum: State Rep. Chris Campbell (D-26); Dr. Rob Stone, associate director of IU Health Bloomington Hospice who worked for nearly 30 years in the Bloomington Emergency Department; and Dr. Ed Weisbart, chairman of the Missouri chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program.

Voters from the 4th Congressional District are asked to submit questions that will be answered by the panel during the virtual forum. All questions should be sent directly to joe4hoosiers.press.sec@gmail.com.

This forum is open to the public and will be shown live on Joe Mackey’s Facebook page (facebook.com/joe4hoosiers/).

A link to the recorded version of the forum will then be released across the campaign social media accounts shortly after its conclusion.
