Donald Eugene Jones Jr.

Donald Eugene Jones Jr., 86, of Greencastle passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at Asbury Towers.

Donald was born in Greencastle on Sept. 8, 1934, the son of Donald E. and Ella (Murphy) Jones.

He was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mr. Jones proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion in Greencastle.

Donald worked for 26 years at Bridgeport Brass until his retirement in 1990.

Survivors include his two children, David E. Jones and Vicki Jones-Rice (husband Richard), both of Greencastle; three brothers, Robert Jones, Moreno Valley, Calif., Richard Jones, (wife Sandy), Exter, Mo., and Kenny Jones, Greencastle; two sisters, Mary Tucker and Mildred Watts, both of Greencastle; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Buddy Jones; and a sister Betty Owens.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Steven Blaydes officiating.
