Beverly (Buis) Nelson

Beverly (Buis) Nelson, 80, of Greencastle, passed away at her home on Nov. 15, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Bev was born Sept. 20, 1940 to Robert and Maxine Buis.

Bev worked at the Double Decker for 45 years.

She was married to the love of her life, Gerald Nelson, for almost 59 years and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, Bev is survived by her daughters, Cristie (Greg) Heberle and Susan (Steve) Clark; her grandkids, Darrin (Sarah) Strother, Steven Pleake, Dallas (Jennifer) Strother, Devin Clark, Lindsay Clark and Nichols Heberle; nine great-grandchildren; sons-in-law Curt Wilderman and Don

Branneman; siblings Richard Buis, Linda Skinner, Jim Buis, June (Fred) Reed and Karen (Tim) Callahan.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Candie Branneman and Nancy Wilderman, grandchild Brian Wayne Strother and her siblings, Judy McManama andBobby Buis.

Due to COVID restrictions, the family has chosen to do a private grave service at a later date.
