Roy Franklin Lancaster

Roy Franklin Lancaster, 78, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020.

Born Jan. 6, 1942 in Greencastle, he was the son of Samuel and Mary (O’Neal) Lancaster.

He was a United States Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion.

Roy retired from IBM in 1995, where he had worked as an analyst.

He loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing or trapping.

Roy is survived by his sons, Steve (wife Rhonda) Lancaster and Mike Lancaster and companion, Gwen Costin; brothers Samuel Henry (wife Pat) Lancaster and Earl (wife Sharon) Lancaster; grandsons Cameron (wife Leja) Lancaster and Nathan (wife Emma) Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Lucy Lancaster and Wesson Lancaster.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother and sister-in-law, Darrell and Susie Lancaster.

Private funeral services will be held with military graveside honors. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
