Former Cloverdale standout Jalen Moore has made an instant impact at Oakland University early in the 2020-21 men’s basketball season.

Moore, who transferred from Olney Central College during the summer, has quickly established himself as a leading playmaker for the Grizzlies, leading the team after four games with a scoring average of 15.5 ppg, including a sterling effort in a 81-71 overtime loss to Michigan in which the junior scored 21 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out six assists and had two steals.

Oakland is 0-4 to start the early season and travels to face Purdue today at 3 p.m.
