With sell-out events to his credit the past three years, The Grinch is not only ready for Christmas but all set for his annual visit for the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department’s Breakfast with the Grinch.

While previous breakfasts have been limited to 40 participants, with this year’s venue change to the Owl Ridge Wedding and Event Center, 3333 S. U.S. 231, up to 100 people can be accommodated and safely distanced for the Saturday, Dec. 12 breakfast, Park Director Rod Weinschenk said.

The program is scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m. Cost of the event is $17 per person.

Registration can be done online at https://gprd.recdesk.com/Community/Program or by accessing the city of Greencastle website, going to the Parks Department and accessing the programs tab.

Youngsters will listen to the Dr. Seuss story “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” while enjoying breakfast.

Photos and crafts are also planned, along with a Cindy Lou Who or Max costume contest.

Masks are required and a registered adult must accompany a child.

Persons may call 653-3395 for more information.
