Homemakers hosting succulent plant webinar

Wednesday, December 30, 2020

Want to decorate the home with plants other than the traditional ones like African violets and philodendrons?

Then consider growing the water-storing beauties known as succulents. They are growing in popularity because of their minimal care and variety of shapes, colors and sizes.

The Putnam County Extension Homemakers will host Jenna Nees of Purdue Extension-Putnam County and the Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation District for a free webinar about succulent gardening.

During this virtual program, participants will learn some of the basics about caring for succulents in their home, while also determining if growing a succulent is right for them.

The webinar will be held on Thursday, Jan. 14 from 2-3 p.m. on Zoom. Participants must pre-register at: https://tinyurl.com/succulentgardeningputnam. All registrants will receive a link to the live and recorded session.

Questions may be directed to Purdue Extension Educator Abbigail Sampson at sampsona@purdue.edu or 653-8411.
