Health Department seeks volunteers to assist with vaccination clinic

The Putnam County Health Department is seeking public assistance in providing COVID-19 vaccines at a future mass clinic when vaccine supply allows.

PCHD is seeking licensed and certified professionals to assist with administering COVID-19 vaccines. Additional volunteers are needed to assist with registration, monitoring patients, directing traffic and patient flow, as well as clinic set-up and tear-down.

The following is a list of certified and licensed professionals who are approved under the Governor’s Executive Order to administer COVID-19 vaccines:

• Pharmacists, pharmacy interns and students, pharmacy technicians

• Paramedics/EMS, advanced EMTs, basic EMTs

• Advanced practice nurses, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, clinical nurse specialists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing students, physician’s assistants, medical dtudents and residents and medical assistants

Completed forms may be mailed to or dropped off at the Putnam County Health Department (1542 S. Bloomington Street Suite 1500, Greencastle) or emailed to bwilliams@putnamhealthindiana.org.
