Audra Mae Vickroy

Audra Mae Vickroy, 93, of Cloverdale, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday Jan. 20, 2021.

She was born Sept. 8, 1927 in Putnam County to the late Lawrence and Edna (Routt) Cummings.

Audra married Glen Vickroy on Jan. 12, 1949, and he preceded her in death.

Audra was a homemaker who loved cooking and sewing.

She attended Cloverdale United Methodist Church, and retired from the Cloverdale School Corporation.

She is also preceded in death by her husband Glen Vickroy; brothers Ted Cummings and Robert Cummings; and sister Betty Monnett.

She is survived by her three daughters, Cindy (Gary) Anderson, Connie (Jack) Galloway and Cathy (Greg) Tipton; grandchildren Stacie (Adam) King, Justin Galloway, Gina Anderson and Brandon (girlfriend Brittany) Huber; great-grandson Ethan King; brother Dennis Cummings; sisters Shirley Brewer, Faye Gaddis and Sharon Mannon; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Audra will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 26 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time of 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made in Audra’s name to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital

It is asked that masks be worn to the services.
