COLLEGE REPORT: Four DePauw athletes earn NCAC Athlete of the Week honors

Four different DePauw University athletes earned NCAC Athlete of the Week honors for the final week of January.

Seniors Aaron Shank (Men's Basketball), Claire Keefe (Women's Basketball) and juniors Michael Ocasek (Men's Track and Field) and Erin Pasch (Women's Track and Field) earned conference honors this week.

Shank averaged 18.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in wins over Greenville, Concordia Chicago and Wabash, including a career-high 32 against Greenville, while ranking fourth in Division III basketball with a 78.8 shooting percentage.

Keefe reached the 1,000-point mark with 17 points against Greenville Friday, becoming the 19th Tiger to reach the mark in program history, adding 14 points and seven boards the following day.

Ocasek won two events in the triangular meet against Earlham and Franklin, winning the 1,500-meter run in 4:21.66 and later teaming with Marino Dolph, Jack Rutstein and Callaway Bird in the 1,600-meter relay, winning with a time of 3:37.26.

Pasch won three events in the triangular meet against Earlham and Franklin, winning the 60-meter hurdles in 9.97, a time that makes her fifth all-time in the event for the Tigers.

Pasch added a win in the high jump, clearing 1.48m, second-place in the 200-meter dash in 28.69 and anchored the 1,600-meter relay team composed of Grace Truax, Alexis Cagan and Greencastle graduate Seelye Stoffregen for a winning time of 4:23.57.
