Cheryl Faye Helmer

Cheryl Faye Helmer, 63, of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021.

She was born June 25, 1957 to the late Richard and Doris (Spears) Crouch.

Cheryl married Thomas Helmer on Sept. 27, 1980, and he survives.

She is also survived by her sons, Brian Helmer (Sara Barnett) of Greencastle and Christopher (Kodie) Helmer of Whitestown; brother Richard Crouch; and eigh grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Connie Ann Lovely, Angie Jean Crouch and Vivian Joyce Crouch, and her brother, Jefferey Crouch.

Visitation for Cheryl will be held Sunday, Feb. 14 from 4-6 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Funeral mass for Cheryl will be 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 15 at St Paul’s Catholic Church, Greencastle, with calling from 10 a.m. until the service time at the Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Cheryl’s name can be made to the St. Paul’s Catholic Church Capital Campaign, 202 E. Washington St., Greencastle, IN 46135.
