Christopher Kline Shinker

Christopher Kline Shinker, 49, of Greencastle, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021.

Born Oct. 18, 1971 in Evanston, Ill., he was the son of Stephen and Carolyn Kaye Briggs Shinker.

He graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Ill., and the University of Alaska, where he studied film literature and history.

Christopher was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Greencastle. He also worked for and was a member of AA in Greencastle.

He is survived by a brother, William Shinker of Apopka, Fla.; aunt Donna Graves of Rockville; and nieces and nephews William Robert, Halley, Victoria, Bryler and Britton Shinker and Kasandra Aphehy.

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Cremation has been chosen with care entrusted to Barnes and Rice Funeral Home of Rockville.
