Charles ‘Steve’ Holsapple

Charles “Steve” Holsapple, 73, of Cloverdale, passed away on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021.

He was born Oct. 18, 1947 in Greencastle to the late Robert and Louise (Bender) Holsapple.

He married Kelly (Chambers) Holsapple on Nov. 9, 2002 and she survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Stephanie Price and husband Larry of Carmel, Mandy Jones and husband Rob of Mooresville and Michael Holsapple of Cloverdale; and also two grandchildren, Alexis Price and Justin Jones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Holsapple.

Steve never met a stranger. He loved playing golf and taking his chances at the slot machines. He was a teacher for South Putnam High School, coaching varsity boys’ and girls’ swimming for many years.

He was one of the founding members of Cougar Bag and was the co-owner upon his death.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
