Kyle Ray Walker

Kyle Ray Walker, 60, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021.

Born April 22, 1960 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Jack W. and Penelope J. (Roach) Walker.

He was a graduate of Fountain Central High School with the class of 1978.

Kyle worked as a shipping clerk for Walmart Distribution in Greencastle. He had previously been a manager at the Greencastle McDonald’s.

Kyle was a fanatic sports fan and an avid follower of Purdue and the Chicago Cubs.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Charlene Cox.

Kyle is survived by his wife, Laurie Ann (O’Neal) Walker; a son, Peyton Walker; his mother; a sister, Kittina Jones; a nephew, Jared Daniel; nieces Kirsten (Scott) Elmore and Karlee Jones; and great-nieces and great-nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will follow at the Putnamville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26.
