Robert H. Johnson Jr.

Robert H. Johnson Jr., passed away March 2, 2021.

He was the son of the late Robert H Johnson Sr. and Mary Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Ronda Johnson; sons Robert William Taylor (Roberta), Ronald Lee Morton, Christopher Charles Johnson, Anthony Wayne Johnson and Shane Hamilton Johnson (Stefany); grandchildren Jessica, Jason, Rachel, Brayden, Kyle, Olivia, and Avery; sisters, Deborah Suzanne Vaughn (Jeffrey) and Toni Gaye Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Frankie Lou Cummings (Pete).

Robert was a graduate of Amo High School where he was a superstar athlete. His athleticism in both basketball and track led him to Franklin College on an athletic scholarship.

Robert joined the United States Air Force.

While working in sales at Dave Mason Automotive Sales he was voted the No. 1 car salesman of the year.

He was a man of many talents, he started his own construction business and eventually started working with his wife (Ronda) in their cleaning business.

He was avid sports fan, always watching IU sports, the Indy 500 and the Indianapolis Colts.

Robert had many hobbies, including golf, woodworking and the most important was spending time with his grandkids and his family. Robert will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A funeral service will be Saturday, March 13, starting at 11 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the Westlake Church of God, 6696 Rockville Rd., Indianapolis.
