State Road 59 closed south of Mansfield

MANSFIELD -- The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced State Road 59 was closed Monday, May 17 south of Mansfield, just north of Parke CR 900 South, to replace a failed pipe structure.

The closure is scheduled to last for three weeks, reopening, Monday, June 7.

The official detour will utilize U.S. 40 to U.S. 231 to U.S. 36 and back.

INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
