Farmers Market set to open Saturday

Nothing says the start of summer like the opening of the Greencastle Farmers Market.

The market opens for the season this Saturday, May 22 from 8 a.m.-noon on the Putnam County Courthouse Square.

A number of long-time vendors will be back, along with some new vendors with new products.

Pick up the perfect hand crafted gift, handmade soap, locally-made honey, jellies and jams that go great on morning toast or locally-grown vegetables that are healthy and just taste better because they are grown in Putnam County.

Come out and support these local vendors while enjoying time with friends.

The Greencastle Farmers Market will operate each Saturday through Oct. 2.
