Tina Marie King

Tina Marie King was a loving daughter, sister and aunt who was called to be our angel in Heaven on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at home after her courageous battle with colorectal cancer at the young age of 55.

Despite battling cancer twice, she fought on in hopes of returning to her family and work up until her final days.

She was born to Donald and Dixie King on Aug. 8, 1965 and is survived by her precious companion, Titus, and her mother, along with her siblings, Jeff King, Delores “Christy” Wentz, Donald Lee King (Tina), Val Pieper, Ronald King (Ashley), Kimberly Clements (Bobby), Dixie Lee King and Kathy Glem (Travis), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Tina was such a loyal and dedicated employee of 30 years for Walmart DC 6022 in Greencastle. Tina enjoyed graciously gifting her talents at sewing and crafting to family and friends.

On her days off, Tina enjoyed dinner and movies with her family and friends, always sure to be visiting often.

Tina’s life will be honored on Saturday, June 5 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, 4 Percy L. Julian Dr., Greencastle.
