Harold Allen Small

Harold Allen Small, 84, of Ladoga, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2021.

He was born Oct. 20, 1936 in Tipton County to Cary Willington Small and Hester Leah George.

He was the youngest of five. He had three brothers, Stanley, James and Donald, as well as a sister, Jean.

He graduated from North Salem High School in 1954.

He worked a few years as a carpenter before becoming a lifelong farmer.

He married Norma Livesay on Oct. 28, 1955 in Hillsboro.

Together they had one daughter, Carol Jean Strater and one son, John Small; three granddaughters, Tiffany Lynn, Kyrie Nicole and Jesse Denee and one grandson, Justin Alan. He also had two great-grandsons, Jameison Allen and Karson and six great-granddaughters, Macey, Kayli, Kennedy, Jesslynn, Jadeis and Jianna.

He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in North Salem, the Masonic Lodge and Northern Star. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, wood working and his family and friends.

Due to his wishes, there will not be a public service.
