Monday, May 31, 2021

Putnam County Habitat for Humanity will host its second-annual golf outing at Clover Meadows Golf Course in Cloverdale on Friday, June 18.

The cost per team is $250 with lunch served from 12-1 p.m. included, with mulligans being two for $5 with a limit of two per person. The number of teams will be limited to 21.

Hole sponsorships for businesses and individuals are $50 per hole or $100 to be the sole sponsor of a designated hole.

Registration is from 10-11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The day will also include a limited number of items donated for a silent auction, as well as prizes for team participants.

All proceeds from the event will be dedicated to the construction costs of Habitat’s new home build at the corner of Round Barn Road and Albin Pond Road.

The winning team will be the beneficiary of a free entry in next year’s event.

Last year’s winning teams were the Langdon Team and the Endeavor Team, which both tied at 18 under par.

Teams and hole sponsors may register by emailing putnamhabitat@gmail.com, calling the Habitat office at 653-5360 or calling 765-720-4364. If no answer, leave a message with the team name and/or contact number and the entry will be verified with a return call.

Office hours are 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
